A guy and a girl in love is like them being in a 3 legged race.
The guy and the girl coming together, with 2 minds focused on 1 path.
Both have to work hand in hand to reach the finishing line.
Along the way, there would be disgreements and unhappiness,
similar to that when one quickens/slows down his pace in the race.
They can choose to give up,
remove the rope that binds them together.
And walk on their own paths.
But with lots of efforts and understanding,
they would complete the race.
The race being their shared life journey.

especially when the journey gets tougher.
For if one gives up, it would be tiring for both to complete the race.
